Answer :-

- 2550 N.

Explanation :-

Given :

Mass of the vehicle => 1500kg

Acceleration => -1.7m/s^2

To Find :

Force applied = ?

Solution :

We know,

\boxed{\sf{}F=ma}

Here,

F is the force applied,

m is the mass and,

a is the acceleration.

Put their values and solve it,

\sf{}\implies 1500\times (-1.7)

\sf{}\therefore -2550N

Therefore,force is equal to -2550N

Know more :

The rate of change of velocity is called acceleration.

The push or pull is known as force.

Mass is the quantity of matter contained in a body.

Newtown’s second law of motion gives the relation between force,mass and acceleration of the object

Newton’s second law of motion can also be defined as follow:

The force applied on an object is equal to the product of its mass and acceleration produced in it

\;\;\underline{\textbf{\textsf{ Given:-}}}

• Mass of the vehicle, m = 1500kg

• Acceleration, a =-1.7m/s²

\;\;\underline{\textbf{\textsf{ To Find :-}}}

• Force, F

\;\;\underline{\textbf{\textsf{ Solution :-}}}

\underline{\:\textsf{ As  we know that  :}}

★ F = ma

Here, we have

m = 1500 kg

a = - 1.7m/s²

\underline{\:\textsf{ Now, put the given values in the formula :}}

F = ma

= 1500 × 1.7

= - 2550 N

\;\;\underline{\textbf{\textsf{ Hence-}}}

\underline{\textsf{ Force applied  \textbf{-2550 N }}}.
