a) brine solution have more density..( as it consist of salt also in addition to water due to which mass per unit volume increases and thus density of brine soliution is more than that of pure water)
b ) because density of egg is higher than that of water so it sink in water
and egg's density is less than that of brine solution so it floats in it..
( note that density of egg is same..its just brine solution is more denser than water)
