an electric appliances rated 400 w is used 5 hours per day in the month of June if the cost of unit is rupees 3.00, find the energy bill for june

i) Energy consumed by refrigerator of rating 400W for 10hr each day

(ii) Energy consumed by 2 electric fans of rating 80W each for 12h each day

(iii) Energy consumed by 6 electric tubes of rating 18W each for 6 h each day

Total energy consumed in the month of june (30days)

= (4 + 1.92 + 0.648) x 30kWh

= 6.568 x 30 = 197.04 kWh

Electricity bill for the month of june

= Rs.197.04 x 3 = Rs.591.12 = Rs.591 (approx)
