 R = 960\Omega

Given :-

P = 60 w

V = 240 v

To find :-

The value of R.

Solution:-

Resistance → The property of a material to resist the flow of electric current through it self is called resistance.

Its SI unit is ohm.

By using the relationship between voltage , power and resistance we have:-

 \huge \boxed{P = \dfrac{V^2}{R}}

Put the given value,

 60 = \dfrac{(240)^2}{R}

 60 = \dfrac{57,600}{R}

 R = \dfrac{57,600}{60}

 R = 960 \Omega

hence,

The resistance of electric bulb is  960\Omega
