When electricity is passed through a conducting solution firstly the main observation is that air bubbles start arising from the electrodes into the solution, the next observation is that if the solution is of highly reactive ions then those of the ions get dispersed to that of the electrodes that is the anions go to the cathode and cations move to the anode, the next observation is that the electrodes or the conducting plates get destructing after some time mostly if the solution is a good reactive solution it can also used as electrolyte.
