Answer:

Given information –

  • Power = 110 W
  • Time = 10 hours per day.

To Find –

  • Units of electrical units consumed in whole April month.

Solution –

Energy consumption = Power*Time

➸ 110*10

➸ 1100 Wh

Now, consumption of energy in 30 days :

➸ 1100*30

➸ 33,000 Wh

➸ 33,000÷1000

➸ 33 kWh

In short :

The total energy consumed by the the electric fan :

➸ 110 W * 10 hr/day * 30 days

➸ 33,000 Wh

➸ 33 kWh

In joules,

➸ 33 * 3.6 × 10⁶

➸ 111.8 × 10⁶

➸ 1.118 × 10⁸ J

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • The electrical energy can be calculated by : W = VIt.
  • The unit of power consumed is watt.
  • Watt is said to be the consumption of 1 ampere of current at potential difference 1 volt.
  • 1kW = 3.6 ÷ 10⁶ J.

Solution :

Power of Electric Fan = 110 Watt

Usage of fan Per day = 10 hr.

April month consist of 30 days

So,

Total Utilisation of Fan = No of days × Utilisation per day

= 30 × 10

= 300 hours

Energy Consumption = Power × time

= 110 × 300

= 33000 Wh

Or

= 33 KWh

Note : 1 unit = 1 KWh

Consumption in Units = 33 Units

Answer

\boxed{Total \:Units \:of\: Electric \:Energy \:Consumption \:is \:33}
