I = 3000 / 220
I = 13.63 A
(b) resistance = voltage/current
= 220/13.63
= 16.14 ohm
(c) Energy consumed in 10 h is = 3000 × 10/1000 = 30 kWh
So, cost of energy consumed is = 30 × 1.5 = Rs 45
