Answer : 15 kWh.

Explanation :

Time for which the heater is used

t = 10 hours

t = 10 hours = 10 × 3600 s = 36000 s

Energy consumed by the heater

E = P × t

where P is the power of the heater

E=(900) W × 36000 s

E = 3.24 × 10^7 J

E = 15 kWh (∵ 1kWh = 3.6 × 10^6 J)

Hope it will help you,

ThankYou.

Time for which heater is used : t=10 hours =

10× 3600s=3600s

Energy conusmee by heater E=p ×t

where p is the power of heater

E=(1500) W × 3600s

=E =5•4 x10 7 j

E= 15 k wh

1 k Wh = 3•6 ×
