Let's analyze the given data:

Resistance (R) = 20Ω

Current (I) = 5 A

Time for which the current flows (t) = 30 seconds.


Now, Heat energy formed = I²Rt

= (5)² × 20 × 30 Joule

= 25 × 600 J

= 15000J.
