an electric kettle is rated 2.5kW , 2.50V. What should be the current capacity of the wire with it??

Power=2.5kw=2500w

Voltage=2.5v

Current=p/v=2500/2.5=1000amphere

Here I=1000A as there is a formula where P=VI firstly converting the KW into W we get 2500 and then putting in the formula 2500=2.5×I
from which we get the value of I =2500/2.5
