we know,
Energy consumed is given in case of electric current , E = i²Rt
Or, E = Vit [ ∵ Ohm's law , V = iR ]
Here v is electric potential ,i is current and t is time taken .
Given, E = 120000 J , i = 2A , t = 5 min = 300 sec
Now, 120000 = V × 2 × 300
⇒ 120000 = 600V
⇒ 200 = V
Hence, electric potential = 200V
