As we know, distance = speed ×time
speed = 30 m/s
time = 30 sec
∴ distance = 30× 30
                 = 900 m

Given:

  • The velocity of the electric train = 30 m/s
  • Time = 30 secs

To Find:

  • The distance covered by the train.

Solution:

The formula to find the distance is given by,

s = v×t or d= v×t ⇒ {equation 1}

Where "v" is the velocity, "t" is the time, and "d or s" is the distance

On substituting the given values in equation 1 we get,

⇒ distance = 30×30 {multiplying the terms}

⇒ distance = 900 m

∴ The distance covered by the train = 900 m
