(a) This means that electric bulb when run on 150 V battery produces 60 W (power)
(B)by formlula p=
 {v}^{2}  \div r
Get value of R =375
putting value of R and V in v=ir get value of I =0.4

Dear Student,

● Answer -

I = 0.4 A

◆ Explanation -

"An electrical appliance is rated as 60 W - 150 V." means it consumes power of 60 W at 150 V.

Current flowing through appliance when in use -

I = P/V

I = 60/150

I = 0.4 A

Hence, current flowing through appliance when in use is 0.4 A.

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
