How it came—
We know that
The ionization energy= 13.6×z²/n²
Here, z is atomic number & n is number of state
Putting z = 1 for Hydrogen & n =1 for ground state
We got
The ionization energy = 13.6 eV
Again we know
lambda = hc / E
Here h is planks constant
lambda = (6 × 10¯³⁴ × 3 × 10^8)/{13.6×1.6× 10^(-19)}
On solving we will get
lamda(wavelength) = 3.32 × 10^(-10) m
