An electron is present in the 4l orbital , write the possible n and l values of this electron , pwease answer fast lol.

Consider the data below,

2 p
3 d
4 f
5 g
6 h
7 i
8 j
9 k
10 l

The first row represents the principal quantum number i.e "n".

And the secind row represents azimuthal quantum number i.e "l".

Since the elctron is in "4th" shell, the value of l must correspond to f,

Also, if "f" orbital exists there other previous orbitals should too.

So the possible values of l are, s,p,d and f.

And the lowest one is "s"

And we already have n = 4.

Therefore the lowest possible value hete will be 4 and s respectively.
