an electron moving with velocity of 50000m/sec enters in the a uniform electric field and acquires aunifirm acceleration of 10000m/secin the direction of itsinitial motion .Calculate the time in which the electron would acquire a velocity double of its initial velocity.

Given data:i)5×10^4m/s=>u(initial velocity)
ii)1×10^4m/s^2=>a

to find "t"
formula:v=u+at
v(final velocity)=2u
=>2u=u+at
=>2u-u/a=t
=>u/a=t
applying the values given
=>5×10^4/1×10^4=t
10^4 gets cancelled
therefore the time(t)=5s
