(ii) Electronic configuration of atomic number 20 is given by

Hence valence shell will be 2,8,8,2

No of electrons in valence shell= 2 electrons

(iii) It is a metal because it lies in s subshell in periodic table and s block elements are metal and name of the element is Calcium.
