An atom with atomic mass will form strong ionic compound with an atom of atomic mass 17 because that element with atomic number 17 needs one electron while that one with atomic number 11 has one electron in outer shell and it cannot take 7 electrons to comple octet so it will share its one electron with element having atomic number 17 and will form a strong ionic compound
Example is NaCl , here Na has atomic number 11 and Cl has 17 so they form strong ionic compound
