\mathcal{ANSWER}

\mathfrak{\large{Given}}

Mass number of X = 35

No . of Neutrons = 18

∴ Atomic number of element X =( Mass number of X - No. of neutrons )

= (35 - 18 ) =  17

\boxed{\bold{Atomic\ number = 17 }}

∴ The electronic configuration of this element X = 2,8,7

So , this element belongs to Group number 17 and Period number is 3 .

Hence , the following element is Chlorine .
