Answer:

The answer is 31.5 g/mol.

Explanation:

As it is given that

6 x 16g of Oxygen combines with 4 x atomic mass of X

It is given that  6.4 g of Oxygen combines with 8.4 g of X element.

We can say that

8.4 / 6.4 x 6 x16 = 4 x Atomic weight of X

1.3125 x 96         =  4 x Atomic weight of X

                 126    = 4 x Atomic weight of X

Atomic weight of X = 126 /4

                             = 31.5 g/mol
