p(x)=x+9

p(-x)=-x+9

adding both eq.

p(x)+p(-x)=x+9+(-x+9)

=18 ans.

I think in your question in the last part you meant p of minus x and not b.

Here is your answer.

p(x)=x+9

p(-x)=-x+9

adding both eq.

p(x)+p(-x)=x+9+(-x+9)

= 18
