group 2 elements are: beryllium (Be), magnesium (Mg),calcium (Ca), strontium (Sr), barium(Ba), and radium (Ra).

you can choose any....
Calcium :

let any alkaline earth metal =x
now,u know the valency of oxide is -2

and I know the valency of alkaline earth metals are +2

so the formation of any metal oxide from group 2 shows(XO)
where x=group two metal
O=oxide

similarly, chlorine has a valency of -1
so resultant compound is (XCl2)
where x=group 2 elements
Cl= chlorine

any doubt comment
