First find time by S=D/T

5m/s=20/t

Therefore,

T=D/S

therefore,

T=20/5

Time=4sec

Now ,

Work= FxS

= 2000x20
= 40000J

Hence work done is 40000J

Power = W/T

= 40000/4
=10000W

Hence power applied is 10000W
