Explanation:

Depth h = 10 m

Time taken in drawing water upto height of 10 m = 10/2 = 5 seconds

In 5 seconds the mass of water drawn m = 5kg

Total work done = mgh

                            = 5 × 9.8 × 10

                            = 490 Joule

Power is given by

P = Work Done/Time

  = 490/5

  = 98 W
