m =2400kg/min=40kg/s
F=mg=40*10=400N
v=3m/s
Power=F.v=400.3=1200W

Per minute = 2400kg. that means per second = 2400/60 = 40kg/sec.

We know that Kinetic energy = 1/2 m * v * v

 Power of pump = 1/2 * m * t * v * v

                           = 1/2 * 40kg/sec *  9m^2/sec^2

                           = 180W.

Hope this helps!
