Given- abc is an equilateral triangle
Ad is perpendicular to bc.
To find- 2 ad
We know that an equilateral triangle has all sides equal (I.e all sides are 60 degree)
In triangle ABC-
Ab=ac
Bd=bc
Bc=bc(common)
Ad=ad(common)
Ad perpendicular to bc
Also ad divides two triangle into equal halves.
So we get ad=ad
I.e 2ad
Hence proved
