Area of big triangle=√3/4A^2

Area of 1 small triangle=√3/4a^2=√3/4*(A/3)^2

No. of triangle*area of small triangle=Area of big triangle
=N*√3/4*A^2/9=√3/4*A^2
=N*1/9=1
=N=9 triangles

Therefore, number of triangles formed is 9.

Hope it helps.
