c = π × d

c = 22/7 × 42

c = 132 cm

Distance covered by the wheel in 1 minute -

s = 1200 × 132

s = 158400 cm

s = 1584 m

Also, one minute is converted to seconds as -

t = 1 min

t = 60 s

Speeed of the train is given by -

v = s / t

v = 1584 / 60

v = 26.4 m/s

Hence, speeed of the train is 26.4 m/s.
