Given Equation is 6y^2 - 35y + 50 = 0

6y^2 - 20y - 15y + 50

2y(3y - 10) - 5(3y - 10)

(2y - 5)(3y - 10) = 0

y = 5/2,y = 10/3.

Hope this helps!

HELLO DEAR,

6 {y}^{2}  - 35y + 50 = 0 \\  =  > 6 {y}^{2}  - 20y - 15y + 50 = 0  \\  =  > 2y(3y - 10) - 5(3y - 10) \\  =  > (2y - 5)(3y - 10) \\  =  > y =  \frac{5}{2} \:  \:  \:  \:  \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  and \:  \:  \:  \: y =  \frac{10}{3}
I HOPE ITS HELP YOU DEAR,
