Correct question:-

An F1 race car needs to accelerate quickly to reach top speed and be competitive.If the car starts at 0m/s and reaches 27m/s after driving 24.3m,how much time passed.

Given:-

•Initial velocity of the car(u)=0

•Final velocity of the car(v)=27m/s

•Distance travelled by the car(s)=24.3m

To find:-

•Time passed(t)

Solution:-

By using the 3rd equation of motion,we get:-

=>v²-u²=2as

=>(27)²-0=2×a×24.3

=>729=48.6a

=>a=729/48.6

=>a=15m/s²

Thus,we got acceleration of the car as 15m/s²

Now,by using 1st equation of motion,we get:-

=>v=u+at

=>27=0+15t

=>t=27/15

=>t=1.8s

Thus,the time passed is 1.8 seconds.
