Let mass of gun be =m2

mass of bullet me =m1

velocity of bullet = v1

velocity(recoil) of gun=v2

given,

m1= 0.02kg

m2= 2.5kg

v1= 1.75m/s

So by the recoil velocity formula

- v2= (m1/m2)*v1

(negative sign shows opposite

direction)

- v2 = (0.02/2.5)*1.75

-V2 = 0.014 m/s

V2 = - 0.014 m/s
