Ice cream cone has the radius of the base 2 cm height 10 cm
To Find :
Cirved surface area , Total suface area & Volume of cone
Solution :
•In cone
Radius (r) = 2 cm
Height (h) = 10 cm
slant height = L cm
L = √(h²+r²) = √(100+4) = √104 = 10.2 cm
•Now , Curved surface area of cone = πrL
Curved surface area = 22×2×10.2/7
Curved surface area = 448.8
Curved surface area = 64.14 cm²
•Now , Total surface area of cone = πr(L+r)
Total surface area = 22×2×(10.2+2)/7
Total surface area = 76.685 cm²
Total surface area = 62.8571 cm²
•Now , Volume Of cone = πr²h/3
Volume = 22×2×2×10/(7×3)
Volume = 880/21 cm³
Volume = 41.904 cm³
•Hence , curved surface area is 64.14 cm² , total surface area is 62.8571 cm² and volume is 41.904 cm³
