As when ice cream is in room temperature it does not get sufficient temperature for not melting but in freezer the temperature is zero degree or less than zero degree which is suitable for an ice cream to survive..
You can understand this but taking example of melting of ice ice melts when there is temperature of 100 degree and ice doesn't melt when it is zero degree arise freezes when it is zero degree so you can recognise this the eyes and ice cream and compare them so you will understand why ice cream doesn't melt inside the freezer it is same as as they both are dependent on a particular temperature..
