So, assume the no. of 25p coins x, and (according to the question) 10p coins are x+3
Now, since you've got the actual amount, that is, 310p
You can form the equation
25 (x) + 10 (x+3) = 310
So,the value of x, upon solving the equation will be 8.
Therefore, the 25p coins are 8 and the 10p coins are x+3=11.
