Life in cities is enjoyable for some and troublesome for the rest. But, cities are very alluring for all people in villages and towns. Main reasons being popular shopping and entertainment options present there. For the residents of the city, life is mostly "busy'ness" or minding their business. For some it is convenience and for the rest a lot of pollution. But everyone agrees in one aspect. They all settle down in cities.
Life in cities is to be smart and to advance forward (their lives) each day chasing the more advanced world elsewhere. Unfortunately rise in population increases pollution and traffic congestion. Many people spend around three hours in transit each day. So newer technologies, infrastructure development, industrial development and latest transit systems race with continuously increasing urbanization.
The busy cities of today were cooler and more pollution free three decades ago. Life was definitely more comfortable with closer interpersonal relations. The temperatures were tolerable and the air more breathable. There were less power cuts and no water shortage.
Cities are centers of politics, big money and power. Facilities for children's education is better. Also, medical facilities are better too. The life here is moulded by all these factors. The newer generation with an exposure to western cultures brought in good scientific and open minded approach. Also, it has brought in clubs of all sorts. The night life has become pronounced.
City girls certainly live better and enjoy themselves more now than they used to, a few decades ago. Whatever the situation in the cities be, life always goes on and on, ending the day with plans for a better tomorrow.
Life in cities is living with very active brain and heart. Never can one afford to be passive. It makes everyone look above the horizon to reach higher position sooner than possible. It's the money, position and fame that makes everyone live in spite of difficulties.
Perhaps for the fortunate, life is a formula 1 race. For the others, it is a race nevertheless, but on a bumpy road.
