An ideal gas Cv=5/2R is expanded adiabatically against constant pressure of 1atm until it doubles its volume if initial temp is 25°c and prssure 5 atm value of T2 is

•Work done = CvdT = -nRTln(Vf/Vi)

•CvdT = -nRTln( Vf/Vi )

5/2×R×(T2 - T1 ) = -1×R×T1×ln(V2/V1)

5/2×( T2 - 298 ) = -298×ln2

298 - T2 = 298×0.693×2/5

•T2 = 298 - 82.605

= 215.3944 K
