An image with twice the size of the object is produced on a screen using a convex lens of focal length 15cm.

=>Magnification=(image distance)/object distance

=>V=2U

By using formula

1/V – 1/U =1/f

Or, 1/2U + 1/U =1/15

Or, U =object distance =22.5 c.m

So , image distance from lens=45 c.m
