An increasing number of people are now using dating sites to meet their second halves. Do you think that this tendency helps people to socialize or does more harm than good?

Give your opinion. Provide relevant examples if necessary.

A number of people are using dating sites nowadays to meet their second halves ...this is having some positive as well as a great harmful effects ...by using these sites we are socializing ourselves its true...but by these socializing sometimes we get trapped into the bigger problems ....the use of these apps is not having that much positive effects rather than having a large negativity towards it
As if u r meeting someone from these dating apps u should b very careful towards it as the person u r meeting is totally a stranger to u nd u dont know what he or she can do with uh at any moment nd ur life will get destroyed by it so the conclusion is that these sites r having the positive but the more negative effects using them

This purely depends on the personality type and the chances of luck. Its better not to Online date, or expect ot find a perfect patner off of Social media, because who knows? The girl who looked marvelous in the Picture may actually be an 89 year old man, scamming for money. There are are tons of stuff like this happening with Online Dating which are abnoxiously ridiculous. Many people use sites like these to scam people, theft and to perform other violations. Take for example you scroll through pictures of someone and you find someone and feel is your Soul Partner and wish they were a part of you life and start talking to them developing contact, maybe it turns out a charm and you guys get together, or it could be a complete disaster. Absolutely it helps people around all over the world to socialize but we must remember, we never know who's behind the cover, it could have an equally good or bad effect on us, and its 100% better to not cross the line.

Youv'e even asked for examples so I've mentioned one.

# A incident between and old man who wanted a patner, Online Dated, and got scammed.

  • An old man was in a relationship with a young woman (Believed is a woman just by a picture). And got terribly scammed by anonymous.
  • He had asked her to meet up and "she" refused so he went to Dr Phil to clear it out, and wanted to meet her
  • And Dr Phil did some digging and found out it was a scam and tracked the girl who was in the Profile Picture.
  • They then found out the girl worked for some kind of beauty thingy I dont remember exactly, and the photos were stolen and pasted as the DP. An Identity Fraud.
