Answer:

When the inflated balloon is rubbed with a piece of synthetic cloth, it gets charged due to friction. When the balloon is pressed against a wall, the electrostatic force between the balloon and the wall is responsible for the attraction between the balloon and the wall.

Answer:

Friction as it is rubbing against the synthetic cloth with the electric charges turning negative the wall has + charge and the balloon after rubbing is - charge hence attracting to each other in this case the positively charged (wall) and the negatively charged (balloon after rubbing against the synthetic cloth)
