distance : 200 cm & displacement :
100 \sqrt{2 }

manya22: How
Mocka: Horizontal displacement is 100 cm & vertical displacement 100 cm. taking vector sum resultant displacement is 100×2^(1/2)

Distance= 200cm.

It climbs 20 widths and

20 height which means 5 stairs

So (20+20) for each step and 5 such stairs

so (20+20)*5=200cm.

Displacement=100√2 cm.

In this instead of width and height,
its hypotenuse is taken into calculation.
Hypo. of 20 width nd 20 height =20√2

⇒ for 1 stair, nd for such 5 stairs (20√2)*5 =100√2cm.

hope it will help you..

Deepsbhargav: thank you
