Stereotype is a assumption by the people towards the other which is near to impossible to change the way of their thinking.
In this case people has made their mind that this is a boy and he should be like this and this is a girl and she should be like this.
For example -) boy /Men don't cry.
A men don't feel pain. Etc.
And an example for girls -) girls /women can do kitchen work only.
Hence, this is called gender stereotype in which people make a thinking on boys / girls which is not right.
