How to find ?

• First, we have to take out the electricity used in one day.
• Then, we can take out the electricity used in the month of April.

Answer :-

Electricity used by Tube lights:

$\rightarrow 20 \times {60} \\\rightarrow 1200\:\text{W}$

Electricity used by Fans:

$\rightarrow 15 \times {40} \\\rightarrow 600\:\text{W}$

Electricity used by Table lamps:

$\rightarrow 2 \times {100} \\\rightarrow 200\:\text{W}$

Electricity used in 1 day (5 hours):

$\rightarrow (1200+600+200) \times{5} \\ \rightarrow 2000 \times {5} \\ \rightarrow 10,000 \text{W}$

We know that there are 30 days in the month of April,

Electricity used in 30 days = 10000 × 30

$\Rightarrow$ 30,000 W or 30 kWh
