We have invested in both water and feed resources over the years and no longer have difficulties with handling drought.

Question 2: What can be done to prepare your farm for drought
We are finding by grazing using a rotational grazing system, our land is staying greener for longer, this is helping us deal with long dry
times.
Question 3: Do you think drought is becoming a more regular part of the farming environment?
Yes, I reckon human induced climate change will increase droughts and it will also increase floods.
Interviewer: Mohan can you explain me the condition of the village during a drought?
Mohan: Certainly Sir.
Interviewer: How do people manage to survive during drought-stricken days?
Mohan: It’s the God’s rage on us and we have no other options.
Interviewer: What are the main difficulties which the villagers are facing?
Mohan: Villagers, as well as plants and animals, face several problems. Few major problems effects are:
• Dryness of water bodies such as lake, river and pond.
• The soil quality starts deteriorating due to lack of moisture in the soil, which directly affects the farming.
• Death of plants and animals due to unsuitable conditions.
Interviewer: So, do you get any government rescue assistance?
Mohan: I am a farmer and along with other farmers, we have sent a request for the rescue assistance.
