an iron rod of 5m long is placed against a wall such that a way that the foot of the rod is 3m away from the wall.Find how high the top of the iron rod reaches in the wall?​

To solve this question we must use the Pythogorous theorem which states that- A^+B^=C^

Here 5m- the iron rod- is the Hypotenuse(the longest side of the right angled triangle)

       C^=5m

then, 3^+B^=5^

9+B^=25

B^=25-9

B^=16

B= root of 16

B=4m
