= 2(lb + lh + bh) - lb
L = 12m, b = 9m, h = 4m
putting value of l,b,h
= 2( 12× 9 + 12 × 4 + 9 × 4 ) - 12 × 9
= 2( 108+ 48 + 36 )
= 2( 192 ) - 108
= 384 -108
= 276 m²
Area of sheet = total surface area
width × length = 276
2 × l = 276
l = 276/2
l = 138
cost of iron sheet = 138 × 5 = ₹ 690
