Hello mate,

Perimeter = 45 cm

a+b+c = 45

a+a+c = 45 (a = b)

16+16+c = 45

c = 45-32

c = 13cm

now we will draw a altitude from the point a to BC.

let the length of the altitude is x.

16^2 = (13/2)^2+x^2 (the altitude of a isosceles triangle bisects the base)

256 = 169/4+x^2

256-(169/4) = x^2

x = √855/√4

x = 3√95

Area = b*h/2

= 13*3√95/2

= 19.5√95 cm^2.

Hope it's helpful for you.
