According to the elders I looked for In my locality they said that 15-20years back family's didn't allowed any of the girls to marry as their wish. at that time they had to marry the boy forcefully . girls family had to give dowry to boys family according to their wish where as now everything is changed. There are laws which says that a girl or boy can't be forced to marry and now dowrys are restricted .Who ever try to take dowry can be behind the bars
