perimeter of the triangle=28+b

28. =8+8+b

28=16+b

b=28-16

b=12

the other side is 12 cm

draw abperpendicular

area=1/2*base*height

pythogoras theorem=12-8

h =4

area=1/2*12*4

area =24

hey the area is 24
