convex mirror should be used. object should be located 30/7 cm in front of mirror.
mirror formulae- 1/v+1/u=1/f
v=-5cm f=30cm u=?
-1/5-1/u=1/30
-1/u=1/30+1/5=7/30
u=-30/7
the object is placed at a distance of 30/7cm from the mirror.
