Therefore from formula -v/u = h2 / h1, we have

-v/(-16) = -3/2

v/16 = -3/2

v = -3* 16/2

v = - 24 cm

From mirror formula = 1/v + 1/u = 1/f

=> 1/-24 + 1/-16 = 1/f

=> 1/f = (-2 - 3)/ 48

=> 1/f = -5 / 48

=> f = - 48/5

= > f = - 9.6 cm
